Forest is the first single from Subtle Lee’s second EP, Original Traditional. The track is instrumental and features pounding, hypnotic drums, middle-eastern inspired guitar riffs and immersive soundscape elements.

About us

Subtle Lee is an electronic art-pop band that was born in 2016 in the city of Berlin, Germany. From what started as a loose collective of musical misfits formed a core group of four international multi-instrumentalists: Ben, Cash, Takuma and Ulari, who then began working on the band’s signature song Skitter and the rest of the Mandala Effect EP.While Subtle Lee’s debut EP was released only in 2024, its members have been far from idle. Ben and Cash used the hiatus to form Berlin Music Award nominated psych rock outfit GO MAHHH and have toured extensively across Europe. Meanwhile, Takuma's duo project Arnonino has seen him perform to crowds in major cities all over Japan and China.Now back and hungrier than ever, Subtle Lee are preparing the release of their explosive second EP, Original Traditional on the Fabienne label.
